This is from an a Canadian artist, Tristram Lansdown. He creates these mininalist portraits of deserted industrial street scenes. His paintings evoke such a distinct mood, it’s as though you are actually standing on the street staring at the scene in real time. Mr. Lansdown makes a dirty street scene look beautiful. Very provocative work.
